Key functions of Development Water (DW) Section:

• Issues relating to resettlement of affectees of flood and dams etc.
• All mater pertaining to release of funds for Water and hydro power sector projects including maintenance of record of allocations, releases, appropriation accounts etc.
• Re-appropriation/supplementary grants for Water sector projects.
• Matters related to all dams, drainage, irrigation system/canals, their rehabilitation and issues of ongoing projects.
• Preparations for review meetings on water sector and follow-ups.
• Re-appropriation/supplementary grants for hydro power projects.
•  All matters relating to PSDP for water and hydropower sectors, priority committees, APCC and NEC, etc.
